What are the different types of flight alerts?

You may choose between four types of flight alerts:

Departure Messages – This alert type is intended for individuals that are dropping travelers off at the departure airport and who are only interested in departure related information. Alerts you will receive include:
* A pre-departure message sent out 4 hours in advance of the departure that shows the current information we have about the flight. If you sign up for the alert within 4 hours of the flight, you will receive the alert closer to the departure than 4 hours.
* An alert if the flight is estimated to depart more than 20 minutes late. Changes to the estimated delay will subsequently be sent out if the delay change (positive or negative) is 20 minutes different from the last update.
* An alert if the departure gate changes.
* An alert if the flight is cancelled.
* An alert when the flight has departed.

Arrival Messages - This alert type is intended for individuals that are picking up or meeting travelers at the arrival airport and who are only interested in arrival related information. Alerts you will receive include:
* A pre-arrival message sent out 4 hours in advance of the arrivals that shows the current information we have about the flight. If you sign up for the alert within 4 hours of the scheduled arrival, you will receive the alert closer to the arrival than 4 hours.
* An alert if the flight estimated to be arriving more than 20 minutes late. Changes to the estimated delay will subsequently be sent out if the delay change (positive or negative) is 20 minutes different from the last update.
* An alert if the arrival gate changes.
* An alert if the flight is cancelled or diverted to another airport.
* An alert when the flight arrives.
* Any change to baggage claim that occurs within 60 minutes of arrival.
* An alert if the flight did not depart 15 minutes after scheduled departure.
* An alert if the flight has not arrive 15 minutes after scheduled arrival.

Traveler Messages – This alert type is specifically designed for an individual that is traveling. We will not bother you with messages such as your flight has departed or landed (for you are hopefully on the plane and know that). Alerts you will receive include:
