What are the data export column names and what do they mean?

Column Data Type Description
flightstats_id String The unique identifier for the flight
fs_marketing_airline_code String Marketing airline code, typically the IATA or ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
marketing_airline_iata_code String Marketing airline IATA code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
marketing_airline_icao_code String Marketing airline ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
marketing_flight_number String Flight number of the marketing flight.
fs_operating_airline_code String Operating airline code, typically the IATA or ICAO code.
operating_airline_iata_code String Operating airline IATA code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
operating_airline_icao_code String Operating airline ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
operating_flight_number String Flight number of the operating flight which is often the same as the marketing flight number.
is_codeshare Integer A '1' indicates that a flight is a duplicate codeshare flight. Typically, a filter is used to limit flight records to those where codeshare=0.
is_freighter Integer A '1' indicates that a flight is freight or cargo.
departure_aiport String Departure airport code, typically IATA or ICAO code.
departure_airport_iata_code String Departure airport IATA code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
departure_airport_icao_code String Departure airport ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
arrival_airport String Arrival airport code, typically IATA or ICAO code.
arrival_airport_iata_code String Arrival airport IATA code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
arrival_airport_icao_code String Arrival airport ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
diverted_airport String Diverted airport code, typically IATA or ICAO code.
diverted_airport_iata_code String Diverted airport IATA code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
diverted_airport_icao_code String Diverted airport ICAO code. Duplicate codes append an asterisk (*).
published_departure Date/Time The published departure date/time in local airport time.
published_arrival Date/Time The published arrival date/time in local airport time.
scheduled_departure Date/Time The scheduled gate departure in local airport time.
est_gate_departure Date/Time The estimated gate departure in local airport time.
actual_gate_departure Date/Time The actual gate departure in actual airport time.
scheduled_arrival Date/Time The scheduled gate arrival in local airport time.
est_gate_arrival Date/Time The estimated gate arrival in local airport time.
actual_gate_arrival Date/Time The actual gate arrival in actual airport time.
scheduled_runway_departure Date/Time The scheduled runway departure in local airport time.
estimated_runway_departure Date/Time The estimated runway departure in local airport time.
actual_runway_departure Date/Time The actual runway departure in local airport time.
scheduled_runway_arrival Date/Time The scheduled runway arrival in local airport time.

status String The FlightHistory status codes which come directly from the FlightHistory table in production.

scheduled_air_time Date/Time Scheduled air time (wheels up to wheels down) in minutes. Null if not available.
actual_air_time Date/Time Actual air time (wheels up to wheels down) in minutes. Null if not available.
scheduled_block_time Integer Scheduled block time (gate to gate) in minutes. Null if not available.
actual_block_time Integer Actual block time (gate to gate) in minutes. Null if not available.
departure_date Date The scheduled departure date in local airport time.
arrival_date Date The scheduled arrival date in local airport time.
aircraft_type String The scheduled IATA aircraft type.
actual_aircraft_type String The actual IATA aircraft type.
departure_gate String Departure gate assignment.
departure_terminal String Departure terminal assignment.
arrival_gate String Arrival gate assignment.
arrival_terminal String Arrival terminal assignment.
baggage_claim String Baggage claim assignment.
aircraft_type_code String The code for the specific configuration of the aircraft. For example, the aircraft_type_code 77W is a Boeing 777-300ER while 773 is a Boeing 777-300.
aircraft_type_name String The name associated with the aircraft_type_code.
general_type_code String The general type code of the aircraft. For example, general type code 777 is associated with 5 configurations that are described by the aircraft_type_code (77L, 77W, 772, 773, 777)
